How Soon Can I Wash My Vehicle After Rustproofing?

 The product is fully cured when you pick up your vehicle, but we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before going through a car wash. Normal rain will not affect the treatment.

What If My Vehicle Already Has Rust?

When rust has already started, we can apply ValuGard’s rust inhibitor, which slows down rust progression and prevents further spreading. This treatment does not remove existing rust, but it helps protect your vehicle moving forward.
Note: Vehicles with existing rust do not qualify for the lifetime warranty.
